Motivate students with the opportunity to learn in two languages!

Providing our students with a variety of experiences with print is essential to their success. Through the Dual Language Libraries, content and literacy instruction is offered in both
English and Spanish.

The Attanasio and Associates Dual Language Classroom Libraries contain books which:

• have authentic language- natural and predictable
• are appropriate for the age group
• have illustrations that give support to text
• have a length of text appropriate to the student's stage of language development
• represent and honor cross cultural understandings
• provide diversity without stereotypes
• contain themes that are free of gender bias
• include multicultural books linked to grade appropriate content.
  
  Since children need access to books that are meaningful and personally interesting, we have chosen titles on a rich variety of exciting subjects- subjects that matter to children of that age group. Storylines encourage real world connections in both fiction and nonfiction.
