The Attanasio and Associates Social Studies Core Curriculm Library provides students and teachers with books that will enhance the depth and breadth of subject knowledge and serves as a catalyst for discussions as students analyze multiple perspectives.

Knowledge and skills developed through the study of Social Studies will enable students to grow into critical thinkers and successful problem solvers capable of making responsible decisions.

All titles were chosen to provide a literary framework to meet the five New York State Social Studies Standards and give insight into content understandings of the Core Curriculum required for teaching and learning at each grade level.

Each library is comprised of nonfiction and historical fiction texts on varied reading levels. Also included are books that focus on artists and scientists of the period.
